I do acknowledge the material struggles that my working-to-middle class family lived through before I came around that prohibited me to see the world for what it really is. I often saw other humans as foreign organisms, not a part of an organization I was, myself, a part of.

I remember seeing Conan O’Brien speak about how whenever he saw his children get love he would feel jealous because he didn’t get enough of it from his parents when he was a child. You know, it’s funny how marrying a Russian woman exactly like that, only the difference is that I had a good amount of love when I was a child and now she thinks I don’t need as much anymore… trying to put that into words but clearly I didn’t succeed today.

Throughout my life I have enjoyed works of narrative art from a few studios. As I grow older and evolve as a mind, I try to continue with the authors. The first canary in a coal mine was the Tarantino movie regarding the events involving the Manson family. I watched that movie in Berlin, before I joined Blue Origin to build a UX program for its internal software division. And that was the first time I hated a Tarantino movie.

“can’t stop won’t stop”
Language is the foundation of any group activity: be it a religion, civilization, innovation, you name it. 10 major languages of the modern world have more power than any empire -

Taking that as a single truth, who, in their right mind would wish upon their descendants, a life of watching social media eclipse in favor of the long form critical thinking?

Who would’ve guessed that language is the foundation of anything old and new?

It’s becoming increasingly apparent to me that whatever the next chapter of my life has in store, it will be defined by my ability to command the world with words. I speak two languages fluently. I have the basis to expand a third one (German). My family name is translated from Russian as someone who can explain words or translate ideas. But it’s not the family creed only it makes me believe that word commanding is the critical skill of tomorrow, it’s also the way technology is evolving.

After all, my great grandfather died making sure that this place stayed Russian so that all of the Russians, who feel like they don’t belong have a chance to come to the city and figure out a way to be where their are people are.
