Rebuilding a cloud management dashboard so newcomers could learn it quickly without taking depth away from professionals.
Rackspace wanted to offer its users an enhanced, intuitive, and efficient dashboard for managing their cloud resources. They sought a solution that would simplify complex tasks without compromising on the depth of functionality.
We analyzed existing usage and prioritized usability, understanding that the stickiness of the tool was so high we could only hurt ourselves. In addition interactive tutorials were implemented to quickly acclimate new users, complemented by robust analytics and configuration options for more experienced professionals.
The revamped dashboard was met with widespread approval from Rackspace's user base. This overhaul led to heightened user engagement and a substantial decrease in support queries.
